The Westfield Megabird is a light weight sports car which has been built and modified by engineering students from NEWI Racing at the North East Wales Institute. Hastings McKenzie, leader of the Performance Car and Performance Car Electronics and Technology courses has partnered with System ST to assist with research and development of the discs. The Megabird provides the ideal platform for this development and allows students to work on projects on a real performance car.

The system is proving excellent with the heavy track duties to which this racer is subjected. NEWI Racing continues to use, test and endorse System ST ceramic brakes.
